The begining
In 2013, Microrep was born in Switzerland thanks to the passion of a dedicated optician.From the outset, the company was dedicated to providing an exceptional quality eyewear repair and refurbishment service, working exclusively with Swiss opticians across the country.
Microrep quickly established itself as a trusted player in the Swiss optical industry.Year after year, Swiss opticians have trusted Microrep to bring their customers' frames back to life with exceptional craftsmanship. Expanding horizons
In 2017, Microrep took a major step forward with the acquisition of Re-Color, a company specializing in eyewear coloring and treatments. This acquisition marked a turning point in our history, expanding our range of services and enabling us to meet our customers' even more specific needs.
Thanks to Re-Color's expertise, we have been able to offer even more varied frame personalization and renovation solutions, adding a touch of individuality and style to every pair of glasses we treat. But it's only now, in 2023, that we've decided to open our doors to private customers. We want to share our expertise with you, the consumer. We're here to offer you superior service, to bring your favorite frames back to life, while helping to reduce the environmental impact of our industry. Although our expertise also extends to jewelry repair, this is not our core business. We specialize primarily in eyewear.
